Mississippi College Announced 2023 Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame of Mississippi College was established in 1960 to honor four senior students for outstanding leadership ability, scholastic achievement, extra-curricular activities participation, contribution to student life and dedication to the serving of God and fellowmen. The four honorees are announced each spring at the Student Experience Gala and presented with a plaque. The 2023 inductees were: Cole Benoit, Carly Fisher, Marion Pohl, and Evan Warnick.

2023 Mississippi College Senior Award of Excellence Recipients

The Senior Awards of Excellence in Leadership recognize senior students who are distinguished by visionary leadership on campus and their vision of greatness. Students receiving this award may have shown leadership in a particular organization or department, or have served in various roles across campus. The 2023 recipients are Emma Barkley, Chloe Bell, Anna Pittman, Lillian Sisson, Avery Hederman, Kenzie Ricks, Queen Washington, Connor Stewart, Noemi Perez, Timothy Martin, Gracie Phillips, Camryn Bruce, David Torrent, Dylan Robertson, Corley Sullivan, Rachel Smith, Peyton DePriest.

Choctaw Indian Princess Kassie Cox Yearns to Help Tribe as Dyslexia Therapist

Kassie Cox accomplished one dream as the new Choctaw Indian Princess. Coming at the Choctaw Indian Festival over the summer, the pageant honor marked one more major goal achievement for the energetic Mississippi College sophomore. As princess, Kassie shares her vast knowledge of the history, culture, fashions, and hard work ethic of the tribe on an East Mississippi reservation near Philadelphia.
